• Question: Why do we use base 10 instead of any other number? Would our known mathematical formulae still be applicable if we used a different base, like 127?Are there any formulae that require the use of other base?

      @ Dolly da Gucci,
I had to consult my mathematician friend to answer this question. From my understanding, base 10, also known as the natural log is just easier to interpret. You can use any other log but the interpretation of this will be much more difficult.
