      Ebola is a highly contagious viral disease caused by a different strains of the ebola virus. it is classified under a group of viruses known to cause haemorrhage and high fevers which means that its key symptoms will be bleeding and very high fevers, which in turn mean that ebola virus patients die faster. Ths ebola virus is very easily transmitted from one person to the other day by coming into contact with body fluids including sweat and vomit. However, there have now been several attempts to make an ebola vaccine especially after the mlst recent epidemic that spread accross different parts of the world. kemri kilifi, is one of the places where an ebola vaccine was tested and the good news is that we might have a vaccine against this deadly virus soon
