Interesting question.
I am not sure i can calculate speed per minute but what i can say is that there are over 2 million sperms released with each ejaculation. Most of these sperms are killed by various mechanisms so that only about 200 reach the fallopian tubes. Eventually, only one sperm fertilises an egg.
So, when you actually think about it in terms of survival for the fittest, the sperm that fertilises an egg must be very superior- hardy enough to survive the acidic female reproductive tract and also first enough to reach the egg and “seal the deal”
