I almost want to say yes, but multiples,fraternal, not necessarily twins. And the reason I say this is because in treatment of fertility problems, it is possible to stimulate the ovaries to mature and release multiple ova within the same cycle. if these were to be fertilised, they would result in multiple fraternal babies 🙂
Identical twins on the other hand might be a little more complicated and may be something that is controlled by genetics. So maybe a little more difficult to attain artificially.
Apparently, as women get older, the chances of getting multiple pregnancies increase.
So maybe if you have a familial history, wait till you are a little older, then use fertility treatments? Sounds too complicated! Maybe test tube babies? With current technology, I think even identical twins can be made and implanted successfully
