• Question: cows produce milk;but why do we not see the origin of the milk when slaughtered

      good question!
      cows, and humans fall in the group of organisms known as mammalia, which are basically organisms that have some of their sweat glands modified into mammary glands that they use to produce milk and feed their young ones. These glands have cells that secrete milk once they get a signal from the brain. this implies that there is isnt a store where this milk comes from…. it is secreted when required and is only temporarily stored within the breasts before feeding of the young one
