      @aaab279,
      Bareness, or the inabilty to bear children can be caused by a number of things. In order to bear a child, a woman be able to produce ova, have fallopian tubes that are healthy to allow for the movement of the ova and also as a site of fertilisation. In addition, the fertilised egg should find a healthy uterus that can allow for the impantation and development of the embryo. As you can see, if anything goes wrong at any of these stages, then a woman might not be able to get pregnant. Hormonal imbalance for instance might cause delayed maturity and release of the ova. If the fallopian tubes are blocked due to congenital malformation or infection, then fertilisation may not be successful . After fertilisation, the embryo is “swept” down to the uterus by hairlike projections on the fallopian tubes. if these are not there, the embryo might get implanted in the fallopian tube, causing an ectopic pregnancy. Ectopic pregnancies cannot be carried to term, and may result in further injury of the fallopian tubes. Once the embryo gets into the uterus, fibroids, cysts etc may stop its implantation resulting in no pregnancy.
      So many things, and depending on what the causes are, there might be treatments, including surgery, hormonal treatment etc that can be used.
      In most african communities, the inability of a couple to get a child is often blamed on the woman. There are many cases where male fertility issues may also play a role and both man and woman should seek help when they are not able to conceive.
